La conferinta de ieri 17 Decembrie de la Seoul, Korea - Samsung a anuntat un nou gamepad destinat jocurilor pe telefoanele mobile si tabletele Galaxy cu Android impreuna cu aplicatia Mobile Console ce va putea fi descarcata din Google Play Store. Smartphone GamePad transforma telefonul mobil / tableta in consola de jocuri portabila datorita conexiunii Blutooth si poate fi folosit pe device-uri cu display-uri incepand de la 4" in sus, suportand inclusiv conectarea la TV prin cablu HDMI. Momentan gamepadul este destinat stict vanzarii in Europa, urmand sa fie comercializat si pe celelalte continente.

SEOUL, Korea - December 17, 2013 - Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a leader in mobile technology and digital solutions, today introduced the Smartphone GamePad and Mobile Console app to enhance the gaming experience on Samsung’s popular line of Galaxy devices. Launched in response to the rapidly expanding global mobile gaming market, Smartphone GamePad provides consumers with a fun, convenient, and advanced gaming experience anytime, anywhere.

The Smartphone GamePad instantly transforms the user’s Galaxy smartphone or tablet into a portable gaming console or even a home console. Through its premium, easy-to-carry design and durable steel frame, GamePad is attachable to mobile devices ranging from 4-inches to 6.3-inches, allowing users to play games wherever they are. Users can also connect Galaxy devices to their TV through an HDMI cable or AllShare Screen Mirroring for video game console experience from their living room.

Sunt curios daca se "pupa" cu WP8 . Sau daca ajung la MOGA Pro Controller care mai nou e suportat de WP8 si Gta San Andreas.

It looks like Samsung will not only send the newly launched GamePad into the world solo, but also bundle it up. Although there's no official word yet, a German blog has reported that the controller has been paired up with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 in a special Game Edition package. Using them could be awkward since the tablet's too large to sit on the GamePad, but you can always hook it up to a TV using the accompanying HDMI adapter. Unfortunately, we couldn't find info on whether the duo will come stateside, and we doubt it'll arrive in time for Christmas. If so, hopefully there'll be some savings over buying them separately, since the sticker on the GamePad alone is $110.
