    Daca tot avem stirea http://www.consolegames.ro/forum/f59...la-pentru-ps4/, cred ca e cazul sa deschidem si un thread dedicat pentru jucarie. Va rog sa postati aici orice informatie legata de noul headset de realitate virtuala pentru PS4 de la Sony. Thanks! Intre timp hai sa vedem tot ce am aflat in timpul conferintei.

    Project Morpheus specs & features:
    • 1080p display (nu stim inca daca avem doua screen-uri sau unul singur)
    • 90+ grade FOV (field of view)
    • 1000hz polling/tracking (via PS4 Eye)
    • Momentan nu exista varianta wireless iar firele au 5m
    • 3 metri "working volume"
    • Suport pentru 360 de grade
    • Support "forward prediction"
    • Functioneaza si daca porti ochelari
    • Functioneaza cu DualShock 4, PS Move si PS4 Eye
    • Supporta casti custom
    • Momentan va fi suportat doar PS4 (no PC version)
    • Latenta va fi "as low as possible"
    • Pretul va fi "as low as possible"
    • Disponibilitatea este "as soon as possible"
    • Experienta poate fi impartasita si pe ecran (pentru cei de langa tine)
    • Nu va putea functiona decat un VR per consola (PS4)
    • Se va conecta cu PS4 si TV-ul prin intermediul unui "breakout box"
    • Sistemul este de tip open pentru a elimina transpiratia sau aburirea ecranului (problema grava la Oculus Rift)
    • Sistemul va avea inclus un procesor

    Sony has announced Project Morpheus, its virtual reality headset for PlayStation 4. It's a prototype for now, but Sony intends to develop it further for a commercial launch.
    Morpheus is a visor style head-mounted display that works with the PlayStation Camera to deliver a virtual reality experience. Inertial sensors are built into the head mount unit and the Camera, which the headset requires to work, tracks head orientation and movement so as the player's head rotates the image of the virtual world rotates in real-time.
    It also works with the PS Move motion controller. Morpheus reproduces the player's hands and sword, for example, within the game so the player feels like they are physically fighting enemies.
    3D audio comes from the front, behind, left and right, recreating stereoscopic sounds heard from below and above.
    At the Game Developers Conference this week Sony is showing off the tech with a demo of CCP's space dogfighting game Eve Valkyrie, which is also in development for rival VR headset Oculus Rift, Eidos Montreal's Thief and a couple of its own tech demos: The Castle, which uses the Move controller, and The Deep, which lets you observe waters from inside a shark proof cage.

    Below are the current specifications of the prototype. Sony stressed they are subject to change:

    * Panel Size: 5 inches
    * Panel Resolution: 1920×RGB×1080 (960×RGB×1080 per eye)
    * Field of View: 90 degrees
    * Sensors: Accelerometer, Gyroscope

    Momentan este doar un dev kit (pentru game developers). Nu ai ce sa gasesti in magazine... Cand va exista o versiune finala, atunci putem discuta de pret si disponibilitate.

    Sorry, dar nu putem risca sa primim amenzi sau sa ne trezim cu site-ul blocat pentru continut pornografic (fie el chiar si in realitate virtuala).

    Cu placere (si sorry pt. delete, dar ne supunem si noi regulilor)! Oricum cred ca suntem toti constienti ca industria "eros" are cel mai mult de castigat din dezvoltarea tehnologiilor de tip VR. Din fericire (sau din pacate pentru unii), Project Morpheus este doar pentru PS4, unde nu cred ca Sony va permite vreodata un astfel de joc. Nu acelasi lucru se poate spune despre Oculus Rift, unde pe PC va fi alegerea ideala (pentru cei care cauta asa ceva).

    si cand s-au lansat casetele vhs , partea de porno a avut de castigat(de fapt , ambele parti) pt cei care nu stiau asta deja, sony a pierdut trenul atunci (nu se pupa cu politica lor)

    • They gave no price, not even a ballpark for the final version.P
    • They described a pretty cool scenario where you'd run a cable out of the headset's A/V box to your TV and see a single-screen version of the VR game on that screen. A second player could then grab a controller and play a game along with the VR player. As an example, Yoshida said that in The Deep, a second player can control the path of a turtle that swims around the diving cage. He said that VR offered a lot of possibilities for asynchronous gaming similar to the Wii U, with several players playing on the TV taking on the VR player. The setup will allow for four controllers, and while the headset currently counts for one of them, Marks said that they're still figuring out whether it'll always be that way.P
    • They're not distributing advance or prototype headsets for PC indie developers, for now it'll be only for developers making games on PS4. P
    • Yoshida confirmed that the commercial release will not happen in 2014. P
    • Yoshida said that Sony is working on dedicated gaming experiences for Morpheus, indicating that Sony's approach will involve making games that are just for Morpheus and would also explore allowing there to be Morpheus-only modes for non-VR games. They specifically said they don't want to just port PS4 games to Morpheus, for example, a normal PS4 FPS that would also be playable in VR.

    Eu din start urasc un lucru la Morpheus asta... si care numai "next-gen" nu e: trackingul cu "luminite". La naiba, inteleg ca Move a vrut sa fie ceva diferit de Kinect si usor de folosit... dar totusi, ii tot dau inainte cu lumintele astea, intr-o perioada in care avem jde mii de senzori de tracking, giroscop, infrared, 3d mapping, etc... La faza asta Oculus Rift e departe deja, chiar daca si ei folosesc o camera care ajuta. Am vazut ca in versiunea prezentata ieri, deja nu mai exista acele zeci de LED-uri de pozitionare (sau cel putin nu mai sunt vizibile).

    Oricum, sunt cam dezamagit vazand ca "not gonna happen in 2014"... Parca vad ca apare Microsoft si zice "Surpriza, noi lansam anul asta"
    Oculus Rift oricum cred ca cel tarziu la sfarsitul anului va fi gata de retail.

    Astia de la Microsoft nu au fost in stare să-şi lanseze consola in ţări destul de importante si crezi ca vin cu VR? Poate marmota VR
