    In an interview with Inside Gaming, Xbox Marketing GM Aaron Greenberg responded to criticism about Infinite's graphics, saying: "Listen, we're in the middle of a global pandemic. It's July, we're far from [launch in] Holiday, you're seeing a work-in-progress game."
    That said, many have pointed to flat lighting and low-resolution textures in official screenshots of the game, but Greenberg reiterated that the looks will improve: "The other thing I'll just say is: it is a work-in-progress. I can tell you, because we see build check-ins every weekl, and they make progress week after week, so between now and Holiday it's just going to get better and better."

    Si mie mi s-a parut work in progress , sunt curios de cand e buildul ? Una e sa fie din ianuarie cum citeam undeva si alta e sa fie de saptamana trecuta .

    Gameplayul mi se pare perfect ptr un joc Halo si am vazut ca multi lauda gameplayul si critica grafica .

    Ow well vedem la Gamescom cum se prezinta .

    Halo Infinite will get a free ray tracing update after launch


    In an interview with IGN, 343 Industries Studio Head Chris Lee has confirmed that Halo Infinite will recieve an update that adds ray tracing to the game sometime after launch. This is being done as part of 343 Industries' mission to evolve Halo Infinite over time, as the developer wishes for the game to act as a platform for future growth and expansion.

    Ray tracing is an awesome feature that makes the lighting in games more realistic and immersive, but you'll need some special hardware in order to enjoy it. The Xbox Series X, the console that Halo Infinite is shipping with, will be able to handle ray tracing. PCs equipped with NVIDIA's RTX graphics cards are also ray tracing compatible. However, old systems like the Xbox One series of consoles will not be able to support ray tracing, so if you want to enjoy ray traced Halo Infinite, make sure to play on Xbox Series X or a properly-equipped PC.

    This news came at the same time that Halo Infinite's gameplay was revealed, showcasing some of the game's brand new sandbox items and a focus on non-linear structuring. The full game is expected to launch in Holiday 2020 on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Windows 10 PCs.

    E bine ca servesc cu portia ce poate cea mai puternica consola. Tare strategie, n-am ce zice. Chiar impinge un gamer sa le cumpere consola de sarbatori, cu promisiunea ca o sa dea unlock la tot ce poate consola, in viitoare updateuri. Nu atunci, pe loc, cum ar avea sens. Bravo, Simona!

    Xbox One o sa le atarne de coada ca o tinichea si generatia asta, daca nu isi schimba approachul. Tot respectul pentru Game Pass, un Netflix al jocurilor este binevenit, dar cred ca au uitat pentru ce sunt aici oamenii: jocuri pentru acel raw power, nu doar servicii.

    Eu n-am putut juca niciodata un joc Halo ! de ce ? nu m-am putut impaca cu ideea ca extraterestrii pot face tumbe, rad cand ii omori , fug cu mainile pe sus si mai vb si engleza !

    OK, dar multe jocuri nu au ray-tracing si arata mai bine. Deci care-i explicatia? Slipspace Engine nu e atat de performant pe cat zic ei sau e varianta de Xbox One?

    Te ia durerea de cap cand auzi ce explicații da Alex in acel video. Ferească.... sunt curios ce spun colegii lui despre atitudinea asta pe care o are tot timpul. Frate daca un lucru nu e bun, si vede toata lumea, nu mai da explicații de tot rasul. Auzi la el, timpul zilei in care a fost prezentat nu ii face cinste si cu o iluminare mai buna se rezolva tot.
    Din p.m.d.v. 343 nu au nici o explicație pentru felul in care arata jocul, au peste 2000 de oameni si mai lucreaza si de 5 ani la el, sa nu mai zic ca au depasit 500 milioane buget.
    Pacat de joc deoarece pe parte de gameplay chiar sta bine....

    Nu a spus ca e doar vina iluminarii si nu a spus ca o iluminare mai buna rezolva tot . Poate ar trebui sa mai vezi o data video .

    Sunt curios ce anume te recomanda pe tine ca sa ne spui ca sti tu mai bine ?

    Absolut ce a spus el a fost spus de mai multa lume , de la iluminare , la anumite texturi slabe , la pop ins si faptul ca e tras in jos de One .

    Eu zic ca am vazut destul de bine, 90% din video da vina pe iluminare si da N’ exemple cu iluminarea care rezolva felul in care arata grafica. Daca tu nu ai vazut asta, inseamna ca ne-am uitat la doua clipuri diferite.
    Nu ma recomanda nimic, nici nu ti-am spus tie direct ceva, nu inteleg de unde ai tras concluzia ca doresc sa învăț pe cineva ceva. Doar mi-am dat cu parerea fiind un împătimit al jocurilor si un fan al seriei, am si spus “d.p.m.d. vedere”.
    Daca pentru tine arata bine jocul, e ok, este parerea ta si nici macar nu incerc sa ti-o schimb.

    Parerea mea despre joc este mai sus daca chiar te intereseaza , majoritatea problemelor care care au fost discutate in video au fost scrise si de mine .

    Te-am intrebat ce te recomanda pentru ca spui ca e bull**** ce spune in video .

    Eu cred ca am explicat destul de bine de ce am spus ca Alex exagereaza cu Iluminarea din joc si o pune pe tapet ca si cum asta ar rezolva din hibele graficii (eu unul nu sunt convins ca este atat de mult tras in jos de One, sunt jocuri mai vechi OPEN world care arata foarte bine pe One, ca sa nu zic mult mai bine decat noul Halo).
    Si ti-am mai spus, nu ma recomanda nimic si nici nu trebuie sa ma recomande, doar imi dau cu parerea. Ti-am zis, nu esti obligat sa fii de acord. O seara buna!

    Nu am vazut clipul si nu stiu ce zice/arata, dar da, are probleme serioase cu iluminarea iar asta se vede foarte usor. Cel mai important este indirect lightning, dar in principiu, totul ar trebui rezolvat de GI (global illumination) din RTX.

    Problema, din ce vad ca spuneti voi acolo, e ca ei au ales acel time of day, ei au ales fix scena aia, ei au ales absolut tot ce este acolo, iar jocul arata penbil pentru next gen - de fapt, jocul arata penibil si pentru current gen iar cine spune ca nu este asa, se minte singur pentru ca-i place universul.

    Ei dupa atatia ani, mai ales la unu din singurele jocuri care pot fi system seller, ar fi trebuit sa arate ceva uber misto, cu totul pe ultra si inca, ceva cu RTX pe toate partile, sa ia ochii, chiar daca era doar 30fps in 4k.

    Partea buna e ca mai rau de atat nu poate arata, deci n-o sa fie vorba de downgrade nici macar pe One X.
