"But the Gods know what once was can be again," an English narrator says of Ryse: Son of Rome, the upcoming Xbox One game from Crytek. The game stars Roman general Marius Titus.
The reveal then cut to a beach invasion, showing a squadron of Roman soldiers assaulting an entrenched enemy force. Eventually, a Roman soldier squares off against a Barbarian in one-on-one combat, revealing contextual kills and a parry system.

Si mie mi s-a parut interesant, totusi cam multe QTE. Insa arata bine, cam tot ce ii lipseste este o poveste pe masura, iar aici Crytek nu exceleaza.
Hai ca nu a fost rau Crysis 2 si nici 3-ul (asa am auzit). Cel putin fata de COD.
Absolut incredibil joculAsteptam de foarte mult timp un asemenea joc cu gladiatori.

Erau de asteptat reactiile, este un joc extrem de impresionant din punct de vedere vizual, dar cu mecanici de combat hilare.

I begin a combo, I slash twice and then whooom slow motion is initiated, **** is about to get ‘cinematic’. A button prompt hovers elusively above the sword I’m about to drive into the throat of my enemy… argh I’m too slow! The prompt flickers, disappears.
I missed it. Damn.
But then somehow, for some reason, I still complete the cinematic ‘kill’.
What?
Maybe it’s a bug I think, but no. Next time I deliberately press the wrong button. The kill goes ahead, no consequences. Then I try hitting no buttons whatsoever. The kill goes ahead. I put the controller on the table in front of me, the kill goes ahead.
What is going on here?
I ask one of the Crytek people hovering at the booth – is this a bug? Why am I completing kills when I hit the wrong button prompt? Or, worse, no button at all. Turns out it was a deliberate design choice.
“We don’t want the player to feel frustrated,” I am told.
A spus într-un interview un angajat de la Crytek că dacă nu apeși la timp sau butonul corect, tot îți vei omorî adversarul dar nu vei primi acele experience points. Spunea că dacă ar fi făcut jocul în genul "ai apăsat butonul greșit ia-o de la capăt", jucătorii s-ar plictisi repede, jocul ar fi repetitiv și frustrant...
Acum eu sper să fie un joc extraordinar și să nu apăs doar 2 butoane și să termin jocul.
Fora 5 se conduce singur, Ryse iti omoara inamicii fara sa faci nimic...
Si doar grafica pare sa fie de el.
Hack'n'slash-urile de acum 5-6 ani par sa aiba gameplay mai bun.
Se explica de ce jocul e QTE fest. N-au reusit sa integreze kinect cum trebuie si acum in loc sa dai din maini, mai apesi pe cate un buton din cand in cand.A Kinect-based game from the makers of Crysis.
Cu cine se bat romanii in clipul ala, cu un trib de barbari care cumva au obtinut un castel din alt secol?
Existau fortificatii de genu' ala pe vremea aia? Si erau aparate cu topoare si fara armuri?
