An apparent leak of the cover of the next issue of Game Informer confirms one of the bigger pieces of news for this E3. As we'd reported last month, the next game from the people who made Call of Duty popular is an Xbox/Xbox-One console exclusive. This is a big deal.

The game, called Titanfall, is being developed by top ex-Infinity Ward people at the new Respawn Entertainment.

NeoGAF user Cartman 99 spotted the new issue on his Android device, grabbed the cover and started sharing info: "Xbox One and PC. With a 360 version being developed by someone else. Game uses cloud a bunch apparently."

We didn't know about the PC version, but the reliance on the cloud and the fact that a non-Respawn studio is doing the 360 version match with our May report. We'd heard the game will require an online connection.

- They can take down Titans. Jumping on them and shooting the "brain".
- You need to be cunning as a pilot. "Hit and fade" tactics is the term the game director uses.
- Pilots come equipped with a variety of weapons. Pistol, Assault Rifle, Anti-Titan Rocket Launcher, data knife used to hack AI characters into joining you.
- There are AI enemies on the maps.
- You survive longer than in COD. Making it more welcoming to newcomers.
- Source Engine. Building new engine = too much time.
- Source gives them 60 fps
- Rewrote aspects of it for next gen
- Article talks about the process of forming the team, being fired, prototyping ideas etc. I recommend reading it.
- Going for a District 9 or Blade Runner vibe.
- Integrate memorable single player moments into a multiplayer game.
- Storytelling style will be more Left 4 Dead.
- Humans segregated between Earth and frontier planets. Corporation trying to take the resources of these frontier people.

Pana nu apare o confirmare oficiala, nu cred ca trebuie mutat. Initial il mutasem si apoi am vazut ca este gresita stirea. Iar la ei pe site (joc/developer) nu apare nimic in acest sens.

Titanfall Does Not Have a Single-Player Mode

Titanfall does not have a single-player mode, and offers only multiplayer modes. The reason for this is that its developers want to keep the focus on multiplayer battles as a deliberate response to player habits—and the size of the studio prohibits them from doing much more with the game without splitting their focus.

Respawn is made up of only 60 developers, and devoting months of work to single-player missions that most players would plow through in a matter of hours doesn't seem like a good use of resources.

"And how many people finish the single-player game? It's a small percentage. It's like, everyone plays through the first level, but 5 percent of people finish the game," said studio co-founder Vince Zampella in an interview with GamesIndustry.biz.
