Bioshock Belt Buckle

"I rather liked Bioshock, especially for it's design and texture. The game had a way of steeping you so deep in the tea of Rapture that your teeth turned brown... that and it gave you a chance to be embarrassed at yourself for screaming while playing alone. I've really taken to "Damn Splicers!" as a swear word.

I've been wanting to make belt buckles for a while, now. The idea took shape while teaching CNC classes at techshop.ws . I decided to try out some cutting and casting techniques in an attempt to make something detailed but reproducible, something that I could make a whole series out of. Some trials and experiments lead me into trying 3d printing, complex molds, bronze casting, and other fascinating areas of inquiry."

'StreetFighter-Legacy' a liveaction short film fan project, based on the popular Capcom gaming franchise: Street Fighter. Officially endorsed by Capcom

StreetFighter Legacy has been a labour of love and passion project for its creator, Joey Ansah, who not only conceived and pitched the project, but also co-directed, co-wrote and choreographed it, alongside cameo'ing in the film. Collaborating, creative partner and long time friend Christian Howard was part of the project from day one, co-writing the script and story elements, as well as further down the line, storyboarding the film, being assistant fight choreographer and most importantly playing Ken Masters.

Streetlight repped Australian Director Owen Trevor came onboard to co-direct the film. His experience and style carried forward from shooting on 3 series of the acclaimed 'Top Gear' have really been an asset to the project and given it a strong visual flair.

Controller Cookies

I knew that a variety of consoles would be at each party, so I ended up making three types of controller cookies: Xbox 360, Nintendo 64, and Playstation 2. It was fun going to the store to pick out candies for making the controller buttons. My most successful find was Crows, a black licorice version of Dots, perfect for simulating all those black and gray rubber buttons on the controllers. Other decorations I used were: Good & Fruity, the fruit version of Good & Plenty, mini M&Ms, white chocolate chips, and mini rainbow circle sprinkles.

Eddie Riggs sculpture

This is a sculpt of a character from a much anticipated video game coming out this October called Brutal Legend. 'Eddie Riggs'. A rock-n-roll roady, guitar playing, axe swinging, demon killing hero played by Jack Black.
This was commissioned by Electronic Arts as a promotional give away. There will be 1000 of these produced.
This was sculpted mostly in Super Sculpey. The guitar was built out of Styrene plastic. I even mixed in some real chicken bones strewn throughout the base.
This stands 17" tall.
