Square Enix has finally announced FFXV: Royal Edition. The GOTY version of FFXV essentially, comes with the game, all DLC, and new content including a new dungeon, a boat to explore the open waters, a first person mode, and more! Comes out on Xbox One and PS4 on March 6th for $50.
Players who already own FFXV can pay $20 for the Royal Edition upgrade/content, seemingly not included in the Season Pass. Box art also notes “Internet Required”, Royal Edition may include a voucher for all content to save disc space/only need one disc: (via Wario64):
“The “FINAL FANTASY XV Royal Pack,” including new downloadable content in FINAL FANTASY XVROYAL EDITION, will also be available separately on March 6 for $19.99 via the Xbox Store and the PlayStation®Store. This purchasable pack allows existing players of FINAL FANTASY XV to enjoy the new features by applying the pack to the base game.”
PC version is coming out the same day for $50, includes mod support, 4K, 8K, and contains all the content of the Royal Edition

Starting February 1, users who pre-order the PC version will receive store-specific pre-order and early purchase bonuses:
Windows Store – By pre-ordering through the Windows Store, fans will receive the bonus “FFXV Powerup Pack.” This pack contains items designed to power up the player’s performance in combat.
Steam – By pre-ordering through Steam, fans will receive the bonus “FFXV Fashion Collection.” This pack contains a selection of outfits for the prince and his pals.
Origin – Those who pre-order on Origin will receive the bonus “FFXV Decal Selection.” This pack contains an array of cool and colorful decals for the Regalia. More details on the early purchase bonuses will be available at a later time.
Am si eu o intrebare. Povestea e incompleta in versiunea standard a jocului? Am vazut ca e diferenta destul de mare de pret la Altex intre versiunea normala (30 ron) si Royal Edition (169). Mi-am tot dorit sa joc jocul acesta cred ca de prin 2007 cand am vazut prima data un trailer. Doar ca majoritatea recenziilor si parerilor pe care le-am citit sustinea ca jocul este incomplet si ca ar fi un mare let down. Ideea e ca pe mine ma intereseaza main-storyul, nu contentul de genul unor fetch quests sau iteme/costume, etc. Are rost sa il iau la 30 ron sau pierd ceva important? Am vazut ca este si un film.
