Max Payne 3 is an upcoming third-person shooter video game is developed by Rockstar Vancouver and will be published by Rockstar Games for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. This is the first game in the series not to be developed by Finnish game developer Remedy Entertainment and not being written by series creator Sam Lake. The game was originally scheduled for release in late 2009. However, it was pushed back to 2010 alongside several other Take Two Interactive franchises in order to "benefit from having more development time."

Max Payne 3 Delayed Again

The third adventure of slow-motion detective Max Payne will not arrive in early fall after all. Take-Two Interactive has moved Max Payne 3 out of the 2010 fiscal year.

Last we heard, MP3 was going to be released during the fourth quarter of Take-Two's fiscal year, which runs from August 1st to October 31st. It's possible that a delay means the game will arrive during November or December. Take-Two didn't provide any additional details, though.

While the stock excuse for delays is "polish," MP3's latest delay may simply be a case of Take-Two's plate being too full. They've got three other games coming out in their fourth quarter: L.A. Noire, Mafia II and Civilization V.

Ideea este ca Max nu mai are nici macar trasaturile faciale initiale... probabil am omis eu partea din Max Payne 2 in care Max se duce la chirurgie plastica... sau poate inca nu sunt eu capabil sa sesizez efectele trecerii anilor. Max are acum si burta si o noua fizionomie... bizar, realist?! Sper sa nu iasa un GTA din Max Payne 3!

Eu personal cred ca jocul acesta nu o sa atinga nici 10% din calitatea jocurilor precedente ,am vazut cateva screen-uri si stilul jocului pare sa o ia spre GTA ..palmieri,ziua afara si chestii de genu' ..sper sa ma insel si sa fie poate chiar mai bun ca celalalte dar sansele sunt destul de mici

Rockstar totusi au facut jocuri bune... eu zic ca merita o sansa numai sa pastreze feelingul de "comic book" cu un efect noir ca la precedentele. Sau mai exista sansa sa indrazneasca sa il reinventeze ........ Oricum, magicul si incontestabilul "bullet time" sper sa fie mai mult decat prezent.

New Max Payne 3 Details Unveiled | VGN365

New Max Payne details reveal that Max Payne 3 isn’t just a straight sequel.

You may have expected Max Payne 3 to take you straight into the life of the drunken, Bruce Willis lookalike Max Payne, but you’d be wrong. In the latest issue of Edge magazine, Rockstar revealed new details regarding the game. The Max Payne reboot takes place 8 years after Max Payne 2, but the story will be told in a very unique way. Art director Rob Nelson explained:

We’re always playing with time in the story, we move backwards and forward; we use really aggressive editing. It’s unlike anything we’ve done in any of our games before.

The game will show you how Max Payne becomes the alcoholic mess we’ve been led to believe he is. Max Payne 3 was meant to release in late 2009, and was subsequently delayed to 2010, and then 2011. Rockstar are yet to announce a release date for Max Payne 3, but the game is meant to release at some point between 2011 and 2012.
