Hitting this Winter, gamers will be able to get their hands on Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Our friends over at the Official Xbox Magazine have the official cover story this month, and while we'll list a few details, you'll have to pick up their May issue to find out everything!

• The game takes place in 1998, a time where Resident Evil fans already know what's set to take place. The title lets you enjoy the series from a new perspective, as the men and women who are technically responsible for it all.

News: Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is official - ComputerAndVideoGames.com

Capcom's officially announced Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, following last week's magazine leak.

As previously rumoured, Operation Raccoon City is a collaboration between Capcom and Vancouver-based SOCOM studio Slant 6 Games and is scheduled for release this Winter.

Set in September 1998 during the original T-virus outbreak, ORC is described as "a true third person team based shooter experience" set within the "dark and sinister" universe of Resident Evil 2 and 3.

Inafara de finalul Teaser-ului unde il arata pe Leon exact ca in RE2 cand ajunge in Racoon City, restu mi-a dat mai mult sentimentul de L4D

Banui ca te referi la silueta de pe bloc, ai dat zoom la poza "maniacule"... Chiar daca nu sint caractere jucabile tot e ceva ca reapar in scena.

LE: app de easter eggs, mai sint 2 poze unde se evidentiaza sistemul de cover, se pare ca zombies nu sint singurii inamici. Folosesti un cadavru sau te ascunzi dupa o masina sa te feresti de gloante nu de muscaturi... just my 2 cents.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City 45% complete, demo confirmed for E3

In an interview held between Famitsu and Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City’s producer Masa****a Kawata, it has been revealed that the game is 45% complete. Slant Six will be making a demo available at E3 this June for those on the show floor. We’re also going to be getting some reveals relating to the creatures we’ll be facing in the game; which will most likely include some of the classic enemies we’ve been hearing about thus far.
