In playtesting, Arkane found that people just weren’t all that able to go about finishing the mission using their own heads. Without at least some sort of clue, people would just wander about aimlessly, hoping for the mission to complete itself.

“People would just walk around. They didn’t know what to do. They didn’t even go upstairs because a guard told them they couldn’t. They’d say ‘Okay, I can’t go upstairs.’ They wouldn’t do anything, explained Arkane’s Julien Roby."

Dishonored - The Tales from Dunwall, Part 1

We have just released ‘The Awakening’- the first in a three-part Dishonored webisode series entitled ‘The Tales from Dunwall’. These engrossing prequels, scored by Daniel Licht (Dexter) and narrated by Chloe Grace Mortez (Kick Ass), gives you a first-hand glimpse into Dishonored’s shadowy whaling world of Dunwall, where plague is rampant and the city is in disarray and on the verge of dystopia.

Created by Psyop, each episode was predominantly produced by hand. Each frame was a fully rendered style frame, which was then enhanced with 3D elements to add to the painterly atmosphere, dimension and depth of each shot.

Bethesda Reveals Dishonored Gameplay To Be Longer Than 22 Hours | SegmentNext

Dan Todd, Arkane studios level designer, confirmed on the Bethesda official forums that the upcoming game Dishonored will have a play through time of longer than 22 hours. While replying to a forum user he posted:

My ghost and no kills play through took 22 hours. That’s without exploring every nook and cranny, and knowing the solution to everything beforehand. It should take more thorough / inexperienced players a bit longer than that

Note that in Dishonored you can complete our objectives in various ways so that also adds to the replay -ability of the game and its longevity. More than 22 hours for an action game is a quite big figure in this day and age especially, don’t you think so?

am incercat jocul la Eurogamer (de indata ce s-au deschis usile am fugit la el si am fost chiar primul care butona Dishonored

). Jocul e foarte bun, diferit de mai orice am pus mana in ultimul timp, universul imi da un vibe foarte bun

. Pacat ca misiunea care trebuia sa o faci in demo era destul de enervanta (trebuia sa il duci pe un tip din punctul A in punctul B...pe umeri, asa ca tot trebuia sa ai grija sa nu moara in timp ce tu te luptai cu soldatii sau cu unul dintre robotii aceia mari...damn ce enervanti sunt aia). Poate mi s-a parut destul de dificil deoarece sensibilitatea era setata ridicol de mare, dar intr-un fel asta ma motiva sa ma duc cat mai stealth-ish pe langa ei. Oricum deja jocul asta are un 10 de la mine doar pentru demo.

Dishonored Will Have No Boss Fights

There's much that's unique about Dishonored: The setting, the complex gameplay that relies on player choice instead of guiding you on a pre-determined path, the interaction of magic and steampunk technology.

But on a gameplay level, one thing that will surprise many gamers is the total lack of boss fights. There are tough encounters… but no bosses. So why forgo these fights?

According to Harvey Smith, one of the game's lead designers, and his team felt they were unnecessary:

"…we never really felt the need for boss monsters. And it seems like a dogmatic feature. And sometimes it's brilliant, right? One of my favorite games of all time was Shadow of the Colossus. … But in our case it wasn't the focus, and we are kind of careful about avoiding those kind of dogmatic tropes that video games are built on."

scuze atunci. nu am fost pe faza. si nu ma asteptam ca lista sa fie postata asa de repede (cei de la vt24/7 de regula sunt foarte rapizi cu postarea stirilor). Asta imi aduce aminte acu doi ani cand am postat niste poze la Splinter Cell care ziceam ca sunt fresh, dar s-au dovedit ca nu fiind asa de "fresh" (au fost postate cu doua saptamani mai repede pe un site...cu doua saptamani inaintea celor de la vg24/7, gamespot, vgchartz etc...se mai intampla).

Anyway care vrea sa cumpere jocul la lansare? Pe mine asa ma tenteaza da pt ca am fost la Eurogamer, asta ar insemna ca nu mai cumpar apropae nimic pentru urmatoarele nu stiu cate luni

. Si din moment ce nu prea sunt pre-order bonuses, nu am motiv sa nu astept sa se ieftineasca un pic.
