Zvon: Legacy of Kain: War for Nosgoth

Seria Legacy of Kain este cu siguranta una dintre cele mai iubite francize Crystal Dynamics. Cei de la Crystal Dynamics s-au ocupat de dezvoltarea acestei capodopere, exceptie facand primul joc din serie, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain (Silicon Knights). Chiar daca dezvoltatorul a trecut mai departe si nu a mai lucrat la niciun joc din aceasta serie, ultimul fiind LoK: Defiance (2003), fanii au sperat pana astazi la un nou joc avandu-i ca protagonisti pe celebrul vampir Kain si locotenentul acestuia, Raziel. Unele idei pentru un joc nou au venit chiar din partea fanilor, dar din pacate acestea nu au fost puse in practica.

Din fericire dupa cea mai recenta actualizare a bazei de date Steam, apare o mica raza de lumina (speranta) pentru fani. In aceasta baza de date s-a strecurat un singur cuvant, *Nosgoth. Acest titlu "War for Nosgoth" a fost mentionat de mai multe ori in notele care insotesc patch-urile pentru placile video AMD Catalyst 13.5. Prin urmare, avand deja doua surse care ne confirma practic acelasi lucru, nu putem decat sa speram la un nou titlu din aceasta serie. Sa nu uitam ca in urma cu vreo trei luni cei de la Square Enix au inregistrat un domeniu cu numele "War in Nosgoth", poate la E3 vom afla mai multe.

wow! wow! asta da veste Dant3! si acum am Soul Reaver 2 si Defiance instalate si le joc in full hd, ambele sunt belea dupa atata timp! Nici nu pot sa-mi imaginez cum ar arata un Soul Reaver 3 cu grafica next-gen si aceelasi gameplay belea. Soul Reaver 2 rupe si la partea audio, efectele de bass sunt de vis. Sper ca la E3 vom primi mai mult!

Nosgoth in active development, not ‘traditional’ Legacy of Kain game | VG247

Square-Enix has confirmed to VG247 that Crystal Dynamics is not developing ‘Nosgoth’, but that the new project that is linked to the Legacy of Kain franchise.
In a statement sent to VG247 this morning, a Square source confirmed that a studio is actively developing the title. The source told us, “Nosgoth exists and is in active development, but is not a traditional Legacy of Kain action-adventure game”, and added, “Nosgoth is set in the same universe as previous LoK games, but on a different branch to the Blood Omen and Soul Reaver series.”
Our source explained that the reason for talking to us about the project was to clear the air following Nosgoth leaks that came from AMD and Steam. The game will not be announced at E3, but the source added that Square is very excited about the concept.
They added, “We don’t want people to get the wrong idea about Nosgoth following the AMD and Steam leaks ahead of its future official announcement. Nosgoth is not being developed by Crystal Dynamics,” and added, “Crystal Dynamics are not working on a Legacy of Kain game”.
In closing our source at the publisher said, “This isn’t something we’d normally do, but we wanted to just give folks a bit more context for the direction, rather than just batten down the hatches.”

Seria Legacy Of Kain are o poveste incredibil de interesanta si fascinanta. Eu cred ca daca s-ar face un serial, chiar si animat, ce urmeaza povestea intru totul ar avea un succes fantastic.
