Se banuieste ca jocul va fi disponibil pe platformele Playstation 3, Xbox 360,PC si ar trebui sa apara de Craciun. Echipa celor de la Crystal Dynamics este impartita in 2: cei care lucreaza la Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light si cei care lucreaza la noul Tomb Raider. Care dintre jocuri va fi mai bun? Ramane de vazut..

PC Gamer’s posted the news in its latest rumour column, suggesting the next title in the series could be taking a more radical approach in that Lara won’t be travelling through a series of linear levels.

These same sources suggest puzzles and platforming aspects will remain in place.
Crystal Dynamics new Tomb Raider was previously rumoured to be releasing this Christmas.

Earlier this year Eurogamer discovered that the new Tomb Raider would be released next Christmas on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
The most recent game in the franchise, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, was released on Xbox Live Arcade in August as part of Microsoft's Summer of Arcade season. It's due to arrive on PlayStation Network on 28th September, with an online multiplayer patch going live for Xbox 360 users on the same day.
Sursele celor de la PC Gamer sugerează o lume Open World pentru următorul joc din seria Tomb Raider. Secțiunea “spy” a revistei spune că jocul va fi plasat �ntr-o perioadă �n care Lara este mai t�nără, pe o insulă din Japonia. Toată insula este explorabilă, iar puzzle-urile au mai multe soluții, �n funcție de metoda de abordare a fiecărui jucător.
Si da, va apare de Craciun... dar de Craciunul din 2011.
