Cel tethered este "final", beta este cel untethered. sper ca in max 2 saptamani sa fie gata, ca as vrea sa-mi fac update-ul asta, sa fiu cat de "la zi" se poate.

Exploit hardware nu prea au cum sa aiba, deci daca e ceva, e tethered, ceea ce e cam egal cu zero pt. majoritatea. Iar pt. iPhone 5, ma indoiesc sa tina ceva deoparte, ca pana atunci cred ca iese si iOS 5, se schimba si arhitectura... Dzeu mai stie ce. Oricum, daca stii ceva, pune un link

Am un Ipod touch 8gb...
Eu cand l-am cumparat de pe amazon...l-am luat drept 3Gen...dar cred ca este 2g pt ca atunci cand am incercat sa bag un Custom FW din primul post...primeam eroare la iTunes...Am luat alt FW de acolo...__>bagat in redsn0w si...surpriza...cam pe la 60% se blocheaza instalarea...se blocheaza si ipodu'...nu mai raspundea la nicio comanda....intr un final am reusit sa l fac sa apara logo ul apple...dupa care am rulat blackra1n(aveam jailbreak tethered si cand sting ipodul trebuie sa rulez blackra1n)si a mers...nu a disparut nimic de pe ipod...

Am cam facut-o lata asa ca nu mai incerc singur...so...va intreb pe voi acum...
Cum aflu ce fel de ipod am defapt(2G sau 3G)...ipodul este model MC086LL...(pe net scrie ba 2g ba 3g...nimic sigur)
As vrea o modalitate jailbreak untethered pt acest ipod... eventual o versiune mai noua de FW pt ca nu imi mai merg unele aplicatii...eu a acum 3.12

Cel mai simplu, din itunes, ii dai sa downloadeze ultimul firmware disponibil. Dupa numele acelui firmware, poti afla ce varianta ai exact

Am cautat putin. Codul MC indica un iPod touch 2g cu o revizie hardware. Ce face aceasta revizie, nu gasesc.

Ai acolo un ghid, dupa modele, cu ce tip de jb se poate face. Este in franceza, dar google translate iti poate traduce toata pagina, daca nu te descurci. Poti pune pe el pana la 4.2.1 si ai disponibil si redsnow si green poison (untethered/ tethered)

Pe 2g DA pentru ca poti sa ii pui maxim 4.2.1 dar pe 3g poti doar daca ai maxim 4.3.1

Szergiu, sincer, cel mai sigur, ca sa nu se intample ceva aiurea pe acolo, conecteaza-l la itunes si da sa verifice dupa un firmware nou. Acolo activeaza optiunea doar sa il downloadeze, daca momentan nu doresti sa ajungi acolo, dar cu numele fisierului .ipsw downloadat aflam cu siguranta ce ipod este.

Ca sa fie totul sigur...
