Prey 2 is still some time away from a launch date but the developers are already talking about how they will treat different platforms and how they will be creating a special experience for those who play on the PC.

Speaking to Rock, Paper, Shotgun at the Eurogamer organized expo in London Chris Rhinehart, who is the leading developer working on Prey 2, has stated, We are looking into anything special we can do for PC users. No announcements yet as to what that may or may not be, but we are looking into different ways that we can enhance the PC side.

The executive has said that the company is aiming to launch Prey 2 at the same time on all platforms, which means that any special content for the PC version of the game will have to be put together while the game is going through certification on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.

Rhinehart also talked about the setting of the game, the planet of Exodus, revealing that it is gravitationally locked to the sun, meaning that one side is always facing it and hot while another is always cold and dark.

He added, So I go to the bright side and then Ill come back to the Bowery, based on the narrative. But just because you leave the Bowery, that doesnt mean you cant come back to the Bowery at any point. Its not a case of leaving an area and then being locked out of it. If you want to go back and explore, you can totally do that as well.

When Prey 2 was initially shown off those who played the first game in the series felt betrayed because the game kept nothing of the backstory and the characters.
