Eedoo, a subsidiary of electronics giant Lenovo, has announced that it will be finally launching its motion controlled iSec video game console on the Chinese market during the month of December.

A wider launch which will include traditional markets like Europe and North America will take place in the early months of 2012.

The initial price for the iSec will be set at about 3,000 Chinese Yuan, which is about 470 dollars, a high number when taking into account the recent price drop for the PS3, the Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii.

Games for the iSec will include sports simulations, platformers, martial arts, skateboarding and monster slaying, although the developers were not mentioned.

China is a good test market for Lenovo because it's pretty much illegal to sell a dedicated gaming console like those made by Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, which the company is avoiding by saying that the iSec is a Home Entertainment System.
