The Cross Plane: gamepad-ul universal, acum si cu ecran!

Va doreati un gamepad cu care sa puteti juca atat Halo, Mario, Uncharted 3 cat si Day Z? Well, cei de la AGI (Advanced Gaming Innovations) au inceput lucrul la un proiect denumit "The Cross Plane", care este practic un gamepad ce va putea controla platforme precum Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, OUYA, PC-ul, si asa mai departe. Ba chiar se promite ca pe viitor sa fie suportate si Xbox One si PlayStation 4 (cu ajutorul cartridge-urilor). Gamepad-ul nu este un touchscreen asa cum va asteptati ci are butoane fizice, triggere, analog sticks, vibratii... si recent i-a fost adaugat si un screen cu diagonala de 7", lucru care il face sa semene extrem de mult cu un gamepad pentru Wii U.

The Cross Plane functioneaza pe principiul de streaming (via wireless HDMI), motiv pentru care acesta nu este un simplu gamepad ci intra in categoria WVI (Wireless Video Interface). Cu alte cuvinte nu veti putea niciodata sa jucati ceva doar avand gamepadul respectiv (precum o consola portabila) ci totul va fi redat de consola sau PC-ul vostru.
