Imi pare rau sa fiu cel care vine cu vesti proaste, dar conform unui interviu acordat de Kazunori Yamauchi (CEO la Polyphony Digital) celor de la eurogamer, Gran Turismo 7 are foarte mici sanse de a se lansa in 2014. Vestea buna este insa ca Yamauchi nu considera GT7 ca fiind un alt "Prologue" si ne asigura ca tot ce am vazut un GT6 a fost mult imbunatatit (in special partea audio). Din pacate, desi va veni pe PS4, asta nu inseamna ca se renunta la standard cars - prin urmare ar trebui sa nu sperati ca in GT7 veti gasi doar premium cars.
Spicuim cateva din raspunsurile lui Yamauchi:
"We are working on the title. I don't think it'll make this year!"
"I don't think it'll be a Prologue"
"I think the quality of the sounds in Gran Turismo 6 will be improved, but most of the work will be done in Gran Turismo 7"
"I doubt that we'll be throwing away the standard cars. Each car has its own fans. So I think we'll hang on to the archive. In the meanwhile, some of those cars we may be able to make into Premium cars as they become available - but basically we're more focussed on increasing the number of premium cars."
