Final Fantasy XIV Online, MMOul anuntat in cadrul conferintei Sony de la E3 2009, ar putea veni pe Xbox 360. Anuntat ca o exclusivitate Playstation 3, desigur asta omitand versiunea pentru Windows. Se pare ca in cadrul conferintei Sony de la E3 2009, Tretton a omis 2 cuvinte: "launch time". O versiune pentru Xbox 360 este in discutii. Final Fantasy XIV va fi lansat simultan anul viitor pentru Playstation 3 si Windows PC
