Update: It’s been revealed that this is indeed the trailer for the upcoming “hard rated-R” Mortal Kombat movie, Mortal Kombat Rebirth. And the short was directed by Kevin Tancharoen, who did the remake of Fame last year. And, judging from this short, Kevin is the perfect director for this movie.
