News: Leaked Assassin's Creed 3 preorder artwork hints at Mayan DLC - Strategy Informer
If leaked images from the GameStop and Best Buy preorder pages of Assassin's Creed 3 are to be believed, Connor Kenway will be taking a side trip to the Mayan ruins in the Yucatan peninsula.
According to the preorder bonus text, both Best Buy and GameStop promise additional weapons including a sword and a club, as well as some additional missions. Best Buy is offering "Ghost of War", which seems to involve an abandoned mine. However, the GameStop bonus mission offers “The Lost Mayan Ruins” solo mission, which shows off a moss-covered Mayan temple pyramid.
Keeping in mind the conspiracy-laden, "Ancient Astronaut" theme of the Assassin's Creed 3 series, having an Assassin investigate an ancient Mayan structure offers all sorts of possibilities.
