Since this report, several developers from DICE have reached out privately to explain the Battelfield Beta build.

As reported in the original report “This does not mean the build itself is from this exact date.” – This statement is true. According to two developers, the beta branched off from the full game in the second half of August, with both August 19th and August 24th dates provided.

In a direct quote, one developer said “After a branch, it doesn’t matter what the build timestamp is.” Continued by “All that matters is what was or wasn’t in the code and data at the time and date of the branch.”

So, it would seem that the Beta build was around seven weeks old (from the August 19th date). In addition to these current DICE developer comments, a former DICE developer also added to the discussion, by adding that the Beta Build time is irrelevant is this report.

Everyone involved in this update either refused or ignored my request to comment further on other aspects of this report.

Adevaru' e ca asa e, daca te duci acum pe serverele de pe BF1942, BF Vietnam , BF2 si BF2142 , s-ar putea sa-ti iei mai multe headshot-uri si sa faci mai putine kill-uri decat in titlurile astea recente cu motor grafic Frostbite. A scazut foarte mult dificultatea in ultimii ani si seria a devenit mai casual ca sa aiba mai multi jucatori, asta e cert.

Era si timpul ca EA sa acorde un credit romanilor care contribuie de 10 ani la dezvoltarea francizei Battlefield.

Ubisoft, care are si mai multi angajati romani, a facut-o abia anul trecut cu personaje de nationalitate romaneasca in Watch Dogs Legion, dar si prin 2011 in AC Revelations cu Vali cel Tradat.

Sigur, sunt constient ca specialistii au fost bagati ca sa ne bage pe gat microtranzactii mai tarziu (nu vrei, nu iei), dar in filmul de mai sus unde este prezentat Costica vad la min 2.26 ca poti sa faci in continuare switch intre clasele Assault, Medic, Engineer si Sniper...

Nu am habar cum se simte pentru ca nu am jucat beta, dar incerc sa inteleg care este marea durere si de ce urla internetul din cauza acestor specialisti.
Problema cea mai mare a tuturor este ca vor fi pe harta 50 de Costica si ca vor arata la fel?

Eu vad 2 motive (dar poate sunt mai multe/altele, nu am studiat prea mult ce zice lumea):
1. Pentru ca sunt aceiasi specialisti in ambele echipe, multi playeri arata identic si practic ajungi sa il omori pe unu care arata exact ca tine pt ca foloseste acelasi specialist. Asta nu ar fi o problema intr-un joc precum Apex sau Overwatch, dar in BF e ciudat si strica toata atmosfera aia militara si autentica de care au tot tras in seria asta.
2. Ca si abilitati, specialistii sunt foarte weaksauce, slabuti toti, nu are niciunul vreun impact major, toti sunt ca niste gimmicks. Lucru care practic nu justifica punctul e mai sus, nu sunt nici foarte importanti incat sa traga inspre hero shooter si sa-si justifice existenta si nici prea flexibil ca sa fie ca in COD de exemplu unde nu conteaza cum arati dar iti poti alege tu acele perk-uri cum vrei, ai mai multa libertate. E destul de limpede ca au facut specialistii ca sa mai monetizeze ceva in viitor cand baga altii noi.

Nu am avut deloc timp sa urmaresc si nici n-am jucat beta, am vazut doar un val de rage in comments si in like/dislike ratio si m-am speriat.

Oh well, pentru mine nu conteaza asta, daca este atmosfera intensa nu cred ca-mi pasa cum arata cel in care trag, si in celelalte jocuri erau cateva skin-uri mari si late, nu e ca si cum tineam minte in ce am tras inainte si ce a tras inspre mine.

Jocul sa fie bun, chiar nu imi pasa cum arata ca si skin adversarii sau coechipierii.
Daca este un Battlefield 4 care functioneaza, merge in 4K/60fps si are harti interesante, I'm in. Cu domnul Costica, se stie!

Mie mi se pare ca trage prea mult inspre call of duty pt gustul meu. Shootingul si 3C-ul parca sunt mai arcade decat erau in 4, armele parca nu au acelasi impact, mi-as fi dorit ceva mai "oleaca mai hardcore", dar poate e pentru ca am tot jucat Tarkov si Insurgency Standstorm si m-am obisnuit cu alea
