- This reboot takes the series out of Michigan and into the American Southwest, mimicking states like Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and California. Gone are the superhero hijinks of the fourth game. The new “Saints Row,” announced Tuesday at Gamescom, is once again about upstart gang members looking to build a criminal empire.

- In the new “Saints Row,” players will create their gang “boss” character and work alongside three friends: Eli, a Black entrepreneur; Neenah, a Latina car lover and the gang’s driver; and Kevin, an Asian DJ and resident thrill seeker.

- Fighting for gang territories makes a return, an innovative feature that went missing after series favorite “Saints Row 2.” Santo Ileso will have nine unique districts, each one having its own theme and culture. The El Dorado district appears to mimic Las Vegas, while Monte Visto looks a lot like the gated communities in the Palm Springs area of California.

- Players will be able to buy real estate properties and use them for various criminal enterprises. One such example includes starting a drug-running business using fast-food meat trucks as cover, like Gus Fring’s chicken operation from the TV show “Breaking Bad.”

-The gameplay mechanics appear to be an evolution of what we was in the third and fourth entries: solid third-person shooting foundations and hand-to-hand action seamlessly mixed in. Some of the later, more outlandish side missions like insurance fraud will also return.

- “For the first time in the ‘Saints Row’ series, players will build their game from scratch and get to witness the birth of the Saints,” Boone said. “The new location is an exciting departure for us. It’s build with exploration in mind and it is the most diverse sandbox we’ve created yet.”

Imi place ca se simte greutate la masini, ceva ce lipseste in jocurile Ubi.

Mi se pare foarte ciudata faza cu focalizarea in departare, chiar si cand faci pan up, spre ex, la 0:56 - focalizeaza doar pe cladirile de peste drum. Daca tot voiau sa se joace cu focalizarea si nu vor sa focalizeze pe personaj, ar trebui ca daca ridici camera, sa focalizezi in departare.

Si mi se pare ciudat faptul ca pe mini-map nu arata si strazile. Nu prea stiu cum ai putea sa te folosesti de harta asta in joc.

Saints Row will no longer release on the originally announced date of 25th February 2022, instead it will launch worldwide on 23rd August 2022.

Our priority is to create the best Saints Row game yet and, if we released on the original date, it wouldn’t be up to the standards we’ve set ourselves, and that you’re expecting and deserve. The team just need more time to do our vision justice; we’re doing some fine tuning and there won’t be much change in the game outside of overall quality and polish.

In all honesty, we underestimated the impact COVID would have on our schedule, although everyone adapted very quickly to the working from home arrangement and continued to be incredibly productive.

However, due to the size and scope of our new Saints Row, it’s become apparent that to create the best game possible, we need to give our team longer to perfect their craft.

As mentioned when we announced Saints Row in August, this will be the biggest and best Saints Row game ever and, in order to achieve our goal, we’ve settled upon a generous, yet essential amount of time to realise our ambitions.

Rest assured, there will not be any changes to the story or the characters or anything that we’ve lovingly imagined over the last few years and already shared with you.

Over the past two years, all corners of the entertainment industry have been affected/impacted in one way or another. As gamers ourselves, we know what it feels like to have something delayed which you’ve been looking forward to; it’s frustrating and you feel disappointed. But we also know that when we finally get Saints Row in your hands, it will have been worth the wait. It’s our absolute priority to get this right.

Ramane sa vedem reviews pentru o idee mai clara, dar cu siguranta au pierdut multe vanzari cand au mutat data de lansare pe August.

Am primit precomanda astăzi. Ediția Notorious, jucat 2h pot spune ca se simte influența SR2 foarte tare, ceea ce pentru mine este un lucru exceptional. Este angrenat in realitate și este comic, ragdollul si mișcările personajelor este copy paste SR2, harta este interesantă și mare (față de celelalte jocuri din serie) acum să vedem dacă se ridica la nivelul Stilwater dar pot spune cu siguranță ca este peste Steelport, poți ajusta cum vrei dificultatea jocului și hudul acestuia( nu știu de ce in prezentari au insistat să joace cu bullet spunge enemy's si health bar ,pur si simplu este stupid). Fara day one pach jocul rulează bine , doar că prezintă mici probleme cu umbrele si cateva pup-in de obiecte asta pe PS4 PRO.

Au aparut reviews, iar notele sunt destul de slabe...

Pe Metacritic avem un maxim 69 in versiunea de PC, dar la console e mai mica.
Pe Opencritic avem un 66...
