Un nou joc Battlefield cu o mult asteptata (de catre mine cel putin) campanie Single Player este in productie:

Publisher EA has announced that a brand-new Battlefield campaign, from Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto, is currently in development at a new Seattle-based studio named Ridgeline Games.

Shortly after the announcement, the official Battlefield Twitter account clarified that the new narrative campaign from Ridgeline Games was not a part of Battlefield 2042.

Momentan e pus pe pauza, am un backlog foarte aglomerat dar nu-l abandonez definitiv ca mi-a placut si am inteles ca ar fi mai ok acum.

Eu sunt Single Player whore oricum, astept cu sufletul la gura tot ce inseamna campanii Single Player la COD sau Battlefield.

Chiar au facut treaba . Fata de Halo …sta bine. Ultimile doua harti sunt cum trebuiau sa fie si celelalte de la inceput . Vrei sniper-eala , vrei CQ , au de toate pt toti . Plus ca e stabil si gasesti meciuri imediat. Ultimul COD cumparat a fost MW2019 . Campania o am si acum instalata pe PC. Astept review-urile pt asta din oct .

A fost confirmată dezvoltarea unui nou joc Battlefield de către CEO Andrew Wilson cu aproape o lună în urmă. Dar Ridgeline a fost închis în februarie, cu peste 600 de angajați dați afară. Se vor ocupa DICE, Criterion și Ripple Effects de noul titlu.
Cu single-player și multiplayer LIVE-SERVICE/Free-to-play + four-class system reintrodus.

"Our teams have listened to the community, have learned valuable lessons, and are driving to the future," said Wilson. "Motive, armed with cutting-edge Frostbite technology and compelling storytelling, is joining DICE, Criterion, and Ripple Effect to build a Battlefield universe across connected multiplayer and single-player experiences. Wilson's comments reiterate the future of Battlefield, adding a "connected" single player mode to its live-service multiplayer.

The next Battlefield game will reportedly have a free-to-play battle royale mode and is targeting an October 2025 release window.
According to Insider Gaming, the next mainline Battlefield game will include 64-player matches, the return of its four-class system, and an overhaul to its destruction mechanics. The story will reportedly focus on modern technology in war and set between the years 2025 and 2030.

On the decision to return to the modern era, Zampella says, "I mean, if you look back to the peak or the pinnacle of Battlefield, it's that Battlefield 3... Battlefield 4 era where everything was modern. And I think we have to get back to the core of what Battlefield is and do that amazingly well, and then we'll see where it goes from there. But I think for me, it's that peak of Battlefield-ness is in that Battlefield 3 and 4 days. So I think it's nostalgic for players, for me, for the teams even. Those are kind of the heyday...although I would say 1942 also."

"Yeah, the 128 player, did it make it more fun? Like...doing the number for the sake of the number doesn't make any sense. We're testing everything around what's the most fun. So like you said, the maps, once they get to a certain scale, become different. It's a different play space, and I think you have to design around that. So we are designing something that is more akin to previous Battlefields," Zampella says. "I'd rather have nice, dense, really nice, well-designed play spaces. Some of them are really good. I can't wait for you to see some of them.

Specialists are also out this time around. "So I wasn't there for 2042. I don't know what the rationale was, but for me, it's like the team tried something new. You have to applaud that effort. Not everybody liked it, but you got to try things. It didn't work. It didn't fit. Specialist will not be coming back. So classes are kind of at the core of Battlefield, and we're going back to that," Zampella says.

- Currently, the game has two different game modes, including the classic Battle Royale experience and a mode named ‘Gauntlet,’ which will see teams of players compete in objective-based modes with the lowest scoring team being kicked out after each mission
- the game will take place somewhere between 2027 and 2030
- the campaign focused on a massive private military going up against NATO
- will be set in various locations worldwide, including Gibraltar (as seen in the game’s first released concept art) and the USA
- the USA, which is also believed to be the setting for the Battle Royale experience (tropical location)
- 45 different weapons on launch
- around 10 multiplayer maps
- the game would have caliber-based destruction, akin to Rainbow 6 Siege, with different calibers causing different amounts of destruction
- the game will see some changes to movement, with one example given by multiple sources the ability to pick up and move downed players

Ba ești nebun!!?? Ați văzut secundele de gameplay de la sfârșitul video-ului de mai sus? Nebunie, clădirile alea destructibile, pică aparatele de aer condiționat si zidurile, oai da mișto arată!! Tin minte ca am jucat online Battlefield Bad Company 2 pe PS3, mi-a plăcut si ăla mult și parcă si acolo puteai da jos ceva ziduri la case cu tancurile, ce plăcere sa poți demola tot, sa vezi cum gloanțele rupe din pereți! Mișto, sper să iasă ceva demențial!
