Warner Bros Interactive has registered a numbers of domains including 'Siege of Gotham', 'Grand Delusions' and 'Gates of Gotham', all which allude to a larger scale.
At the Spike Video Game Awards last year the Joker was shown holding a script for 'Batman: Arkham World' during his Best Character Award acceptance speech. "Oops, spoilers!" he said while cheekily tossing it aside. Although a Rocksteady representative later said the reference was "in good fun only", at the very least it shows the studio is aware of what we want from a sequel. And you know what they say: there's many a true word spoken in jest. No doubt that goes double for when the jester is the Joker."
