PS3 in sfarsit profitabil
Shuhei Yoshida, presedinte la Sony's Worldwide Studios, a declarat intr-un interviu acordat celor de la IGN ca PS3 a devenit in sfarsit o consola profitabila. Daca inainte pierdeau sume importante de bani cu fiecare consola vanduta, de la aparitia noului model Slim, Sony castiga bani de pe urma consolelor vandute. Acesta a mai declarat ca nu planuiesc sa scada pretul consolei in viitorul apropiat.
Iata ce a declarat Shuhei Yoshida: "This year is the first time that we are able to cover the cost of the PlayStation 3. We aren't making huge money from hardware, but we aren't bleeding like we used to. When we bring the cost of hardware down, we are looking at opportunities to adjust prices if we believe that will increase demand. At the moment, we are trying to catch up our production."
