Phil Fish, creatorul lui Fez, este un tip foarte nervos din fire. Dupa problemele avute in timpul dezvoltarii primului joc, iata ca nici de aceasta data lucrurile nu merg cum trebuie. Fish si-a informat fanii pe Twitter ca productia lui Fez 2 a luat sfarsit. Se pare ca acesta este nemultumit de intreaga industrie si este satul de tot. Picatura care a umplut paharul se pare sa fi fost Marcus Beer (Annoyed Gamer de pe Gametrailers) care l-a facut cu ou si otet in timpul unei emisiuni. Fish a fost numit: "hipster", "tosspot", "f-ing a-hole" si " a wanker". Se pare ca Phil nu a mai rezistat si a renuntat la tot.
