Crytek pregateste Arena of Fate pentru vara lui 2014

Fara prea multe detalii, Crytek ne anunta un nou titlu de tip "action-packed online multiplayer" denumit Arena of Fate. Acesta ar trebui sa ajunga pe PC-uri si console in vara 2014 (deci suntem aproape), si din cate vad site-ul oficial deja va asteapta sa va inscrieti in Beta. Avem chiar si un teaser (pe care-l atasez mai jos) din care nu putem trage o concluzie, ci doar presupunem ca va fi un joc de tip MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena). Crytek ne promite o varianta playable la E3 2014.

Update: intre timp am mai aflat ceva informatii despre Arena of Fate (care este in development de catre echipa din Bulgaria, Crytek Black Sea - cei care au facut Kinghts of Honor si Worldshift). Step into the shoes of legendary heroes from history and fantasy and lock horns in Arena of Fate. Arena of Fate features 5 vs. 5 battles with historical and fantasy characters that offer battle traits unique to their respective eras. So far, playable characters include Joan of Arc, Tesla, Robin Hood, Little Red Riding Hood and the werewolf Fenrir, with more the be revealed at a later date.

But besides the game's iconic heroes, which everyone in the team really loves, we are also challenging ourselves to carefully craft a streamlined player experience that allows for both greater accessibility, and rich, deep, action-packed gameplay. We are very excited to meet the first wave of players in the arena this summer, and will be listening carefully to the feedback we receive and making the community's contribution a key part of our efforts to perfect the fun.
