Exista un program cu ajutorul caruia poti rula jocuri de gamecube pe wii de pe sdcard sau usb, folosind controllere pe usb (hid), controllerul clasic de gamecube si promite chiar la un moment dat sa suporte controllere bluetooth (de ps3 sau wiimote-ul). Poate face toate acestea nemai trecand consola in mod gamecube ci ramanand in mod wii.
