Naughty Dog has been teasing us with talk of 60 FPS for*The Last of Us Remastered*for a while, but considering the habit of many developers and publishers to call “60 FPS” *a frame rate that touches that goal but dips under it when things get chaotic, having doubts is legitimate.
Luckily Lead Programmer*Christian Gyrling did his part today to dispel said doubts,*clarifying*that the team did its best to avoid any drops under the 60 magical number.
We have worked hard to remove drops so that the experience should be at a constant 60 fps.
Gyrling also confirmed that the game will hold 60 FPS for both single player and multiplayer:
