Imi pare rau sa fiu cel care vine cu vesti proaste, dar conform unui interviu acordat de Kazunori Yamauchi (CEO la Polyphony Digital) celor de la eurogamer, Gran Turismo 7 are foarte mici sanse de a se lansa in 2014. Vestea buna este insa ca Yamauchi nu considera GT7 ca fiind un alt "Prologue" si ne asigura ca tot ce am vazut un GT6 a fost mult imbunatatit (in special partea audio). Din pacate, desi va veni pe PS4, asta nu inseamna ca se renunta la standard cars - prin urmare ar trebui sa nu sperati ca in GT7 veti gasi doar premium cars.
