There are very few licensed game franchises that are able to achieve what Batman has done, as a lot of these games are ignored by critics before they've even been released.
Batman: Arkham Knight recently got delayed for about seven months, which pushes the game back into 2015. We won't get the opportunity to play as our favorite caped crusader until June 2, 2015. Yes, that's far away, but at least there's a concrete release date to look forward to; many games don't even afford us that luxury.
