Rush's
Moving Pictures full-album download
remains missing in action, but MTV Games and Harmonix are pushing ahead with more record-length track packs. With Rock Band 2 out this weekend for the Xbox 360, the developer said today that Megadeth's
Peace Sells... But Who's Buying will hit the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions of the game next week.
First announced
along with a slew of other full-lengths late last month, Megadeth's thrash metal downloadable album packs seven tracks: \"Wake Up Dead,\" \"The Conjuring,\" \"Devil's Island,\" \"Good Mourning/ Black Friday,\" \"Bad Omen,\" \"I Ain't Superstitious,\" and \"My Last Words.\" The album download will cost $10.99 (880 Microsoft points), or $1.99 (160 Microsoft points) per track.
Unfortunate for those not planning on (or in the case of PS3 gamers, able to) progressing to Rock Band 2, the title track, \"Peace Sells,\" will not be included as part of the download. Instead, the track has been included as part of Rock Band 2's
on-disc setlist.
Along with Megadeth's
Peace Sells... But Who's Buying, Harmonix will also release the Rock Band Tour four-pack next week, which is comprised of band's appearing on the Rock Band 2 promotional concert tour. The track pack includes \"One of Those Nights\" by the Cab, \"Hands Down\" by Dashboard Confessional, \"She's a Handsome Woman\" by Panic! At the Disco, and \"Natural Disaster\" by Plain White T's.
The Rock Band Tour four-pack can be purchased until October 14 on the Xbox 360 and October 16 on the PS3 at the promotional rate of $.99 (80 Microsoft points) individually or $3.99 (320 Microsoft points) in totality. After those dates, the prices will revert to $1.99 (160 Microsoft points) per track or $6.99 (560 Microsoft points) for the album.
