Cred ca toata lumea a auzit despre jocul celor de la Visceral Games, Dead Space. Al doilea joc din serie, Dead Space: Extraction, se gaseste exclusiv pentru Wii. Insa acest lucru s-ar putea sa se schimbe, daca este adevarat ce a declarat producatorul jocului la Comic-Can. Cand a fost intrebat daca jocul va ramane o exclusivitate pentru Wii, Steve Papoutsis a raspuns "it is right now" si a mai spus ca intrebarea este foarte interesanta. Daca Dead Space: Extraction va aparea si pe alte console, acesta s-ar putea sa apara si pe iPhone. Steve a mentionat faptul ca o versiune a jocului pentru iPhone ar fi "pretty cool".
La aceasi intalnire s-a mai discutat si despre cateva idei noi/vechi:
- Dev team encountered problems with story telling because players don�t complete games with one session
- Wanted to make sure that Extraction wouldn�t interfere with the overall storyline of Dead Space (no contradictions)
- Lighting was important for the dev team so that gamers� attention could be focused at a particular area
- Depending on whether the title is successful, there may/may not be another animated feature
- More info will be provided regarding Issac, events from the original game
- Extraction was always planned to be from the first-person perspective
- Three new weapons in Extraction
