Now that Dr Kawashima's Brain Training has brought its brand of grey matter exercises to a new console it seems like the right time we got an official Nintendo Switch Stylus.

Well, here it is.

Long, thin, plain, has Nintendo on it. Thrilling, I know. Sure, it may not be as stylish at the limited edition Mario Maker 2 one, but perhaps the biggest surprise of all is just how cheap it is - £6.99.

Usually, the official Nintendo products are massively overpriced for something that works just as well as any other item without their stamp of approval on it (as we've seen with their massively inflated official Switch SD cards).

This Nintendo Switch stylus, though, is an absolute bargain. Plus, it'll save you from digging through all the other random stylus makes and models to find something that just...works. Whether you're using it for Brain Training, Mario Maker 2 or doodling on Splatoon 2.

Right now, it only appears to be available through the Nintendo Official UK Store, so you'll have to add another £1.99 for postage. That still makes it less than nine quid and an easy rival to our previous picks for the best Nintendo Switch stylus over at Jelly Deals.
