You see, it’s extremely easy to launch yourself at the crown in the belief that if you touch it first, you’ll win. But no, you literally have to grab the crown with the dedicated button for that action, or else it won’t count — as some people have painfully found out firsthand.

That final win condition reminds me a lot of what happens at the end of an Uno game, where you technically have to actually SAY “uno” in addition to having a single card left — or else it won’t count! And, admittedly, in the heat of the moment, you might panic and launch yourself at the crown rather than grabbing it. Some players have even found that Fall Guys can bug out and not register a grab, which Polygon has asked developer Mediatonic about. But regardless, make sure you nab the crown in the intended way if you want to win and potentially buy some snazzy new skins with your quarry. [...]
