Luckily, Sony came up with the goods and demoed a brand-new level, set high in the Tibetan mountains. The level was called Heart Of Ice and saw protagonist Nathan Drake navigating his way up and then back down a huge mountain face.
Other demos have shown off the combat but this was all about puzzle solving, rope swinging and timed jumps. In the ice cave Drake has to work with a new companion called Tenzin – a Tibetan villager, who as (bad) luck would have it doesn't speak a word of English, so they have to find a way to work in tandem without any real communication.
