"Stellar Blade's PC version will still be available in territories that don't have access to PSN.
It's unknown why the game is an exception, but it could be because Sony doesn't own Shift Up.
Stellar Blade's demo is currently available in "nearly 250 regions worldwide.
"Stellar Blade's upcoming PC port is set to be widely available across the world, despite concerns that the game would be subject to the PlayStation Network (PSN) regional restrictions that have affected other ports.
For those unaware, Sony insists that players connect their PSN accounts to Steam to access certain games. For some, this is a mild frustration. However, for others, the issue is far more serious. PSN only supports 69 countries worldwide, and Sony's terms of service prohibit people from lying about their region to circumvent these regional restrictions.
This controversy first emerged with Helldivers 2 last year, as months after launch, players were informed they would have to connect their Steam accounts to PSN to keep playing. For players without access to PSN, this was tantamount to removing their access to the game. Sony eventually walked back this decision after significant backlash."
