It appears that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be getting some dynamic themes for the PlayStation 3 along with a midnight launch.
Both GameStop and EB Games have confirmed that Modern Warfare 2 will be available at midnight on November 10, 2009.
"Yes. The PS3 version of #MW2 will have trophies and rumble support and we even have some dynamic themes in the works for the PS3 XMB."

Y'know, I just realized I've had a new op-ed column on IGN for two months now, and I haven't beaten up on Sony yet. That's kind of a break from tradition. Let's be honest. Right from the clowny PlayStation 3 launch (and I'm betting the morons who earned criminal records for brawling in the waiting lines feel extra stupid now) to the rapid-fire attrition of new SKUs, quietly vaporwared backwards compatibility, MIA tentpole titles and ever-extended Home-lessness, they made it easy to slam out a thousand words slamming them on a regular basis. And friend, I like the PS3.
