If you haven’t already heard, Splinter Cell Conviction is being delayed to April 2010. I know you’ve all be waiting a long time for Sam’s next adventure and I’m going to have to ask you to wait just a little bit longer.

So why the delay? This decision was made by both the dev team and Ubisoft management and it was done in the best interests of the game. These extra weeks will be used for additional polish and improvements, and in the end we’ll have a higher-quality game. We are doing our best to get an amazing game out the door and we are as eager to ship it as you are to play it.

We’ll be getting you a more specific release date ASAP. Also, we’ve only just begun to show you Splinter Cell Conviction, we’ll have much more to share in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
