The entire gaming industry are continuously fighting a war on piracy, needless to say why. Suprisingly, gaming giants Rockstar have controversially used a cracked copy of Max Payne 2 as a retail version through Steam.
Coded by the infamous and prevelant cracking team, MYTH, this was created as a pirate copy. I do not condone pirating games, but what went through the heads of Rockstar as they sold their customers pirated versions of their game?
I assume they do this because it's easier to 'steal' (I know it's a bit of a paradox) a cracked version of their own game than compile a new version without DRM.
