Just when you thought we already knew everything about Driver before it was even close to launch, Ubisoft announced a few new features including for the first time, fully licensed cars appearing in the title. That’s right, if you ever have felt like going on a rampage at your local in-game shopping mall, then driving off into a blazing horizon in your brand new Ferrari*, Driver might actually let you do it.
Also announced was a new ability called “Shift” that will allow you to unlock missions as well as unlock and access new vehicles. Our man on the floor Chad Lakkis has commented and said Driver looks great, and Officer Tanner, the main protagonist from the first series is in fact back.
