While playing the original Infamous, did you ever ask yourself, "Man, how much would Empire City be pwned if I had a couple of buddies playing alongside me"? You can bet your ass we did. Now it looks like our wishes might actually come true in Infamous 2.
Our E3 sources have asked some of the Sucker Punch guys (swell fellows) whether or not we would see some form of multiplayer on Infamous 2, co-op or multiplayer. They gave the usual response that they don't speculate on rumors but they said that don't know just how far they will go with this game. Multiplayer might just find it's place on Infamous 2 but it isn't the time now.
