Metro 2033 a fost un joc promitator asteptat de foarte multi gameri, doar ca a dezamagit atat in vanzari cat si in reviewuri. Insa cei de la THQ nu se lasa asa de usor, acestia au anuntat astazi ca un sequel al jocului se afla in productie si ca va folosi tehnologia 3D, fiind unul dintre cele 4 jocuri in care producatorul va experimenta noua tehnologie. Jocul se va numi Metro 2034 si va continua povestea din primul joc, cu atmosfera post-apocaliptica cu care ne-a obisnuit.
Iata ce a declarat Danny Bilson, un angajat al companiei THQ: "We're showing Metro 2033 in 3D right now, which Nvidia is showing as one of their key demo products. We're going to be doing a 3D version of that on Metro 2034 -- the sequel. And there will be some engineering costs there, but that's in our lowest cost centre in the world. Those games are unbelievably reasonable, they're built in Kiev."
