IGN: EA goes back down the rabbit hole
http://www.gametrailers.com/player/58475.htmlToday on an official web site, and at their Studio Showcase, EA announced specifics about the new Alice game in the works. The game is called Alice: Madness Returns, it is being developed by Spicy Horse, and it is classified as an action/horror title.
You might remember American McGee's Alice which was a dark take on the fairy tale and was released in 2000. This sequel takes place 10 years after the original title. In this new story Alice has been released from an insane asylum and is still coming to terms with her delusions and hallucinations stemming from her family's death in a fire. She returns to Wonderland to find it suffering from some unknown evil.
The game will appear on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. There will be puzzles, action, and adventure. The story will take place both in Wonderland and in London.
