Al 3-lea joc din seria Operation Flashpoint a fost anuntat saptamana trecuta de catre Codemasters. Acesta se numeste Operation Flashpoint: Red River, va fi lansat in anul 2011 pentru Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC si promite sa ridice standardul pentru autenticitate si lupte intense intr-un joc tactical shooter. Jucatorii vor intra in pielea unui "marine corp infantryman" in lupta ce o vor purta in Tajikistan, de-a lungul raului Vakhsh River. Jocul va avea mod online co-op ce va putea fi jucat in maxim 4 persoane, insa ne putem astepta si la alte moduri online. Producatorul executiv, Adam Parsons, a relatat urmatoarele:
