During sweeps, networks trot out new episodes and big guest stars because they use February viewership numbers to determine how much to charge advertisers for commercials and in-show product placement. Unfortunately, many networks prepare for February by running repeats in the week(s) leading up to sweeps. How I Met Your Mother has been in reruns for the past two weeks but it will begin airing new episodes this month.

Expect a bunch of repeats from your favorite shows as soon as February ends.
