I just have Shift 2 and is doing the introduction GTR race. My first impression is don't be fooled by the graphical steering wheel lag, the lag is very visible but doesn't affect the actual driving, it is a bit distracting at first but I could manage it. Secondly the car is setup to be extremely understeery, I just finished the race and now can buy my own car, I will see if it is a setup issue or an inherent physics issue. Grabbing a MX5 as I speak, nothing tells more about the physics than a good old lightweight FR.

see you later!! it does look and sound awesome, the first track I see is suzuka east, and it isn't very accurate in terms of elevation, the T1 is a lot different from other versions I know.

Edit after testing with the MX5:

THE HELMET CAM INCREASES THE PERCEPTION OF UNDERSTEER.

I found a huge difference playing with the helmet cam and the traditional cockpit cam, with the helmet cam I am always running too wide at the entry point and turn in too late, hence the car feels like it is understeering a great deal, however with the traditional cockpit cam there is no issue at all, the car is neutral and doesn't feel floatly at all. So the helmet cam definitely takes some getting use to, I think I will give it sometime, and unless it really hampers my speed, I will try to use it

The FF is also decent, it has a more noticeable force drop off when the front wheel slides, and the rumble strip effect is better than that of GT5 (less violent and more subdued), given the physics underneath it is does a decent job.

este un pas inainte spre un oarecare realism... asta au vrut sa faca.
