Battlefield 3 producer claims team play not essential in multiplayer news article

In an XCN Interview with Patrick Bach Executive Producer working on Battlefield 3 at EA DICE when asked about the single player portion of the game, he was evasive but did mention that the game's mutliplayer component allowed for gamers to ignore team-play and responsibility for others and just have a good time.

"We are not only focusing on the multiplayer experience but also making sure anyone can get into the game no matter your personality or mood. Lone players like you say enjoy the Single player campaign but can also, without caring about Teamplay or responsibility for others, just have a great time in multiplayer."
