Design a shield for Dark Souls [contest]
Your shield is one of the few things that may keep you from certain death in Dark Souls. Your design may just adorn one of those prized items. Starting today until July 28, 2011, Namco Bandai Games is hosting a Dark Souls shield design contest. Namco Bandai Games is calling for submissions of original shield designs (using templates to be provided on facebook.com/darksouls). Fans will vote on their favorite shield designs for 10 finalists. The final 3 winners will be selected by FromSoftware, the Dark Souls development team. What’s at stake? Here are the details from Namco Bandai Games:
“Each of the ten winners will receive a copy of Dark Souls signed by game director Hidetaka Miyazaki. The final 3 winners will see their designs brought to life for all time in the Dark Souls universe, and will receive a signed copy of the limited edition game plus their names in the game credits, ensuring immortality no matter how many times they die while playing.”
How to enter:
● Become a fan on the official Dark Souls Facebook page at www.facebook.com/darksouls
● Download the blank shield templates
● Create up to three original masterpieces of heraldic design
● Submit your finished designs via Facebook on or before July 13th 2011
