Dead or Alive 5 Gets Explosive Extended Gameplay Video
Tecmo Koei and Team Ninja confirmed at last month's Tokyo Games Show 2011 that a new installment in the Dead or Alive fighting game series will appear, in the form of Dead or Alive 5, but didn't really elaborate on what's going to make it stand out.
Now, the Japanese publisher and its internal developer have released an extended gameplay video, via Kotaku, showcasing a pre-alpha version of the fight between two established protagonists of the series, Ryu Hayabusa and Hayate.
As you can see above, there's quite a lot of intense fighting going on, while the environment is certainly reacting to the combat of the two characters. What's more, it seems that objects, like cars, can also be used in the actual fighting game, resulting in some pretty interesting moments.
Dead or Alive 5 is expected to appear on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime in 2012, but, until then, Team Ninja will also release Ninja Gaiden 3, starring just Ryu Hayabusa.
